Raspberry Pi Setup

1. Set Console Font Size
sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-setup

2. Set Keyboard Layout to US
sudo nano /etc/default/keyboard
Change the line that reads XKBLAYOUT="gb" to XKBLAYOUT="us"

2 1/2. Set correct time zone
sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

3. Create cputemp Bash Script

cd /usr/local/bin
sudo nano cputemp

#!/bin/bash

awk '{printf("%.1f\n",$1/1e3)}' /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp

Save the file then make it executable
sudo chmod 755 cputemp
4. Setup WiFi
sudo nano /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev
update_config=1

network={
ssid="Your SSID Here"
proto=RSN
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
pairwise=CCMP TKIP
group=CCMP TKIP
psk="YourPresharedKeyHere"
}

sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces

# allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet manual
wpa-roam /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
iface default inet dhcp


sudo ifdown wlan0
sudo ifup wlan0

5. Setup Sound
